because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You

Giving
to the Needy
1 “Be
careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by
them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the
hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others.
Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But
when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand
is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father,
who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
On Prayer
5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they
love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by
others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father,
who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will
reward" !!
DO NOT PRAY IN PUBLIC!! These professional Pastors and Priests are absolute defiant against the teachings of Christ!! and are commanded by Christ not to do that!! You are to pray in private as He did!. Never do a public prayer yourself. If someone starts praying in public, disassociate yourself with that and remind them of God's command .
But even the greater point here is Christs teaching on giving. You give to the needy. God doesn't need your money. He possesses everything. Why are you giving to some building and some professional Christian!! . . Read the words of God.
He did not say "go give to the Temple".
How could we get so far off the commands of Christ? Why do we give to professionals? I'll tell
you why. The institutional "church" of whatever denomination seeks
control FOR THEIR MONETARY BENEFIT. They put themselves in the way as "agents of God when they are NOT the agents for God designated by any authority but themselves. !! How can we be such sheep allowing to financial victimization ?
Look at how Jesus told us to pray.
"OUR FATHER" ---(We pray to the Father-- Not Jesus - Not the priest--- Not Mary-- Not the "saints" and not the holy spirit.)
"WHICH ART IN HEAVEN" --- (God is not on Earth. The Holy Spirit is all that is present here. Jesus is NOW in heaven and "sits" at the metaphoric right hand of God. He is not here.)
"HOLY IS YOUR NAME"--- (Here Jesus starts the prayer with Praise of HIS Father.)
"THY KINGDOM COME .THY WILL BE DONE-- ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN "---( Jesus teaches us to honor God's Power and prays for its increase on earth.He predicts Heaven on Earth).
"GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD"-- Here, he teaches to ask for the basics of life. Bread - food, shelter. He does not teach praying for "world peace" or the environment or even a third parties health. Pray for your basic needs ONLY-- Pray silently, never in public or out loud, like the professionals want to do for self glorification of themselves-- CHRIST taught us not to pray aloud!!
"FORGIVE US OUR SINS AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO SIN AGAINST US"--- (Jesus directs us to pray for forgiveness generally- He uses Sin but not specific sins, but as general sin. You don't know all the sins, anyway. There are thousands of sins. Sins of commission ,sins of omission , sins of thought and sins of acts, sins of failure to act. That is why Jesus atoned for all your sins or you would never make it to Heaven. . He atoned for our sins on the cross .After the Cross, everything changed. Praying for forgiveness is no longer part of your prayer if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God. All of your past ,present and future sins were forgiven 1990+ years ago if you simply believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

those who trespass against you and that is a sin, you are forgiven of that
sin too like you are forgiven of all sin the moment you believe,pat present and future.

"BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL"-- God can deliver you from evil and find away of escape if you will call on him, if HE wants to. Either way , you have been forgiven and there is no judgment. Always remember he has 7.2 billion living souls crying out for him from Earth today. God is very busy.You are just one person.

men in America are those in Ecclesia and in media that deliver a message
that if you give them money ,you are" giving to God". They know that
tithing is not in the New Testament and Biblical giving is in the context of
the poor but not to the "professional " Christian .who has to convince you that
he's God's AGENT" and you can give your hard earned money to him and it is "like" giving to God.". (valley girl jargon) . I was at a Christmas "Church" service and the preacher (who is 46 years old) said "LIKE" in the colloquial "valley girl" mode 19 times in 8 minutes!! why? He is a PRO, that's why. He was actually educated.
He will even tell you that if you "plant a seed" (give him your money), "God "will send you a "hundred fold".( I once sent a zucchini seed to Mike Murdock's TV ministry). I didn't receive 100 zucchini seeds in response.
Many "MEN OF GOD" are total frauds, in my opinion, and are motivated by self greed to receive money from the giver and are con artists, many like Creflo Dollar ( boy, and I mean DOLLAR!!) Mike Murdock and Todd Coontz, Peter Popoff and the ultimate worst,in my opinion, LEROY JENKINS!!, in my opinion, and many other "traveling money raisers" who take the " seed" message? and the" widow's mite" to the sheeple as a snake oil scam to get money from the weak minded and weaker students of the Bible who don't have a clue what Jesus said in the Bible .( Jesus refused to pay the Temple Tax with His money and was Crucified for throwing the temple tax takers out of the Jerusalem Temple. )

Do you notice when a
"budget" discussion at your local "Church" changes to
"Receive God's Blessing" by giving? Do you watch TV
"professionals" extort money by taking money intended for
God? GOD OWNS EVERYTHING ANYWAY!! He doesn't need a penny!!
Let's look at what Jesus thought about taking money in God's name.
Did you know that Christ would not pay the " Temple Tax". (the
tithe?)
The
Temple Tax (Matthew 17)

After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the
two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the
temple tax?” 25 “Yes, he does,” he replied.
When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the
first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings
of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?”
26 “From others,” Peter answered.
“Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to
him."
You never saw that did you? Didn't
come out from from any sermon delivered by your "Preacher" or TV "Minister" did it? You do agree that your are a "Child of God" if you believe -- right? Why are you paying the "TEMPLE TAX"? God doesn't tax his children!!
When Christ threw the money collectors out of the Temple in Jerusalem, THE NEXT DAY the Sanhedrin started the process of crucifixion with the Roman occupation leadership. Jesus was threatening their MONEY!!!! Modern day professional churches are no better that the Sanhedrin.
Now you are saying "money changers" right ? Here is what they did in the COLLECTION process. The priests would not take Roman coin. The Roman money was forbidden to be received . The money changers converted the Roman coin to Silver coin and collected the TEMPLE TAX ( the tithe). After taking the money they took their fee and gave back the change and gave the silver to the Priests. We know what changers were doing this by looking at Jesus at the Temple in Capernaum . Jesus abhorred the Temple Tax. That is why there is NO mention of tithing in the new testament. Romans 10:4: For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Finally, even local churches worship money and have very little concern about where it comes from .
"A crusty old man walks into a local Baptist church and says to
the secretary, "I would like to join this damn church."
The astonished woman replies, "I beg your pardon, sir. I must have misunderstood you... What did you say?" "Listen up, damn it. I said I want to join this damn church!" "I'm very sorry sir, but that kind of language is not tolerated in this church." The secretary leaves her desk and goes into the pastor's study to inform him of her situation. The pastor agrees that the secretary does not have to listen to that foul language. They both return to her office, and the pastor asks the old geezer, "Sir, what seems to be the problem here?" "There is no damn problem," the man says. "I just won $200 million bucks in the damn lottery, and I want to join this damn church to get rid of some of this damn money. " "I see," said the pastor. "And is this bitch giving you a hard time?" |
